News of a bounced check from Vinfolio , the fine wine retailer and auctioneer, appeared yesterday morning on eBob . By the afternoon, the CEO, Steve Bachmann, posted this to his blog : After three years of very rapid growth — placing it among the top 15 fastest growing private companies in the SF Bay area from 2006 to 2008, Vinfolio experienced a much more difficult sales environment during 2009. A few weeks ago, we found ourselves in need of additional capital on a very near-term basis. She played on the guitar last year in Nashville at the We're All for the Hall concert. So the auction with the Country Music Hall of Fame put the guitar online and brought in more than 16-thousand dollars. Very impressive. But I have an interesting question for you. I thought of this because Taylor reportedly only played this guitar for one performance so it's pretty much new. Would you be willing to dish out more cash for a one-time-used guitar or for a guitar that had really been played by the artist? I mean, what are you paying for?
